What we offer

Employment either as a permanent employee or as a freelancer

A competitive salary with a long-term outlook
A collegiate, collaborative working style
You are a German native level speaker with an excellent command of at least French and English acquired either at university or from working in a multilingual commercial environment. Your general understanding of business and high-tech industry is excellent.
You have a proven track record researching and producing readable, flowing copy.
You are eager to work together with colleagues to deliver outstanding copy, whether editing or translating, and you are keen to engage with customers directly by telephone and email.
You are excited by the prospect of writing and editing in German for a cross-cultural readership with a strong focus on international communication and public relations.
The success of our business rests on the quality of our output. We uphold this through an internal quality assurance process that sees all our translations and editing jobs pass to a second native speaker for review. In addition to editing and translating work of your own, you will be responsible for providing feedback to other team members on their editing and translation of articles for employee and customer magazines, press releases, web content, product and service brochures, annual reports and copy destined for use in trade shows and conferences.
Please provide us with examples of your editing and translation work in the field of corporate communications or other similar image-sensitive areas. You can find out more about BVIW by visiting our website bviw.de before sending your application to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will not consider applications that reach us by post.
